Every hacker and security engineer needs good resources. Of these resources, books often fill the needs, though many are quickly outdated by the time they go to print. Like many others, I have shelves of security and hacking related books, with only a handful that are referenced frequently, and even less read cover to cover. Below is a running list of books and other print publications that I recommend along with a brief personal review.
